I have a studio based in Machynlleth, Mid Wales, working mainly with paint, printmaking and collage.

My curiosity for experimentation, exploration and
combining techniques and materials encourages
me to embrace the unexpected.

I explore ideas around how nature mirrors the wider world,
using my garden as a base. Through observation
and immersion I witness beauty, drama, growth & decay,
abundance, food production, weather, sound, colour,
insects and wildlife.

Focusing on about 1/3 of an acre allows me to use my garden
to try and make sense of the wider world, making work that
has a dreamlike feel, often flying or walking through
landscape, often with strange light, often abstract. Exploring
themes such as migration, food security, seed saving, climate
and territorial conflict.

I meander through specific thoughts, sound, colour (I love colour), or shape, and will explore these more deeply by working in series.
